St Michael’s is a place where children come running in each morning and don’t want to leave at the end of the day! It is a school where each unique individual is known, valued and loved.
Life begins at St Michael’s in our Nursery and Kindergarten where a lifelong love of learning is nurtured. New skills are developed and the foundation of your child’s education is set.
The adventure continues into Reception where classroom learning and trips to our Forest School are introduced. It is here our children discover and explore the joy and wonder of our natural world.
In Year 1, Swimming & French lessons are introduced. In Year 2, our children enjoy a vibrant programme of transition events which prepare them for the next stage of their journey into the Prep school.
Our Years 3 and 4 pupils are introduced to specialist teachers and weekly sports fixtures. Our lessons, trips and events inspire the children as they enjoy themed Roman, Rock and Egyptian Days.
We recognise that every child is unique and foster their happiness, self-confidence, resilience and well-being. From Year 5, we work closely with you to find a senior school that will suit your child.
Our Years 7 and 8 pupils enjoy a unique curriculum, scholarships, leadership roles and unforgettable trips. These opportunities prepare our children for senior school and life beyond St Michael's.
