Our annual Year 7 Camp Out took place last Friday, providing a fantastic start to the new academic year. Although the weather was cooler than in previous years, the evening was full of enthusiasm, laughter and community spirit.

The camp out offers a valuable opportunity for Year 7 pupils to reconnect after the summer holidays and build new friendships, particularly with those who have recently joined the school. The lower pitches provided enough dry ground for an energetic game of football, while parents kindly assisted with tent pitching. Thank you for your support.

Following a pizza supper, pupils enjoyed a walk to the top of the Warren before taking part in a spirited game of Manhunt as dusk fell. Fortunately, despite rumours, there were no sightings of the legendary Otford Panther!

After hot chocolate and a final treat, pupils settled into their tents for the night. While sleep may have been in short supply, the experience was thoroughly enjoyed by all and undoubtedly created lasting memories.
