On Monday, pupils in Years 3, 5 and 6 enjoyed an exciting VR Workshop with PrimeVR linked to their Geography learning. Through immersive virtual reality experiences, the children explored the polar regions and observed some of the fascinating animals that live there. They witnessed dramatic volcanic eruptions up close and visited famous landmarks from around the world, including the Great Wall of China, the Taj Mahal and the Colosseum. It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to experience places they may not otherwise have the chance to visit or explore. It also deepened their understanding by feeling fully immersed in these environments. The workshops sparked curiosity, enthusiasm and plenty of discussion, making learning truly come to life. We hope to arrange future workshops like this again for other year groups in the future!
