Congratulations to George who participated in the British Transplant Games this summer. The Games are a celebration of organ transplant recipients, as well as living donors and donor families.
Attending the event in Oxford with his family, George was part of the King’s College Hospital Children’s Liver Transplant Team for the third year in a row. George achieved gold medals for his age range in Tennis, Table Tennis and 60m sprint, as well as winning a silver medal in the ball throw. We are so proud of you George, well done!
Congratulations to Zach who at the end of August, spent 6 days walking over 52 miles along the Hadrian’s Wall Path from Bowness to Newcastle, walking up to 13 miles in one day. Zach became interested in going to Hadrian’s Wall after studying it in Year 4. He remained positive throughout and raised an impressive £660 for the charity Street Child! Thank you to everyone who kindly donated.
