Fees are inclusive of stationery, a hot lunch, snack (Prep) and Personal Accident Insurance. For details of the Personal Accident Insurance, please see the below documents:
Insurance Production Information
Fees must be paid in full by direct bank transfer on or before the first day of term to which the invoice relates, as per our terms and conditions, a copy of which can be found here.
The first days of term for 2024/2025 are as follows: Michaelmas: Thursday 5th September 2024; Lent: Tuesday 7th January 2025; Trinity: Wednesday 23rd April 2025.
Thereafter a surcharge of 3% per annum above the base rate may be added to the outstanding sum. A late payment fee of £100 may be applied if fees remain unpaid after 21 days from the due date.

A minimum of one term’s notice, in writing, must be given of a pupil’s withdrawal from the school. Otherwise, full fees will be charged in lieu of notice as detailed in our Terms and Conditions.
A discount is available for those wishing to pay school fees in advance and is available for pupils from Reception to Year 8. The scheme does not cover supplemental fees and charges.
Fees must be paid by the final day of the preceding summer term (Trinity Term). Please contact the Finance Manager, Mrs Sallyanne Saunders, for further details on fees@stmichaels.kent.sch.uk
A sibling discount of 10% will be offered to the fourth child of a family who attends St Michael’s Prep School. This sibling discount will continue to be applied for all subsequent children providing a minimum of four children are attending the school at the same time.
This is an optional scheme which refunds school fees in certain circumstances if a pupil misses school due to illness or injury.
The cost of participation is charged at 0.95% of the termly fee.

Hive Fees September 2024 to July 2025
The Hive is open 4pm-7pm (Monday - Thursday) and 4pm-6.30pm (Friday) – All rates are per day per week

Mini Hive
Our Mini Hive is available to St Michael's Pre-School children on a Tuesday and Wednesday, running from 4pm to 5pm or 6pm; a sandwich tea is provided. The cost is £10.50 per hour inclusive of the tea.
Cancellation/non-attendance
No refunds can be given for non-attendance unless your child is attending one of our school trips. Cancellations can only be accepted for one off daily bookings if 24 hours’ notice is given prior to the original booking date.
Late collection fee from 7pm
£10 per 15 minutes
Half termly bookings for The Hive and Breakfast Club must be made by the last day of the preceding half term, otherwise the short-term daily rate will apply.
