Pupils in Year 3 have enjoyed interactive Rocks Day workshops as part of their Science learning this term.

Bringing their Rocks, Soils and Fossils topic to life, the action-packed event saw the children make fossils, compress melted wax to represent metamorphic rocks and make volcanoes explode using a range of scientific equipment. Many skills were developed through classifying, sorting and observing; Year 3 impressed with their knowledge, curiosity and enthusiasm.

Thank you to Rock Man for cramming so much fun, excitement and science into one day and reminding us just how amazing our planet is and some ways that we can look after it.
