
Prep children took part in St Michael's first Health and Wellness week.
St Michael's teamed up with the Better Body Group to help our pupils discover the joy of staying active, moving well, eating well and generally looking after themselves - now and in the future.
Each morning of the week was kicked off with our Morning Movers sessions and it was brilliant to see parents and pupils working out side by side.
Throughout the week, every pupil enjoyed a PE lesson led by the Better Body Group's personal trainers. They learned how to move correctly, exercise safely and work together.
Our Years 7 and 8 Sports Scholars also had a fantastic nutrition session with the nutritionist from Accent Catering, followed by a well-earned sports breakfast of wholemeal pancakes and fruit.
Director of Sport, Steve Brightman said: "Thank you so much for supporting the week. We hope it has helped to spark, or strengthen, a lifelong love of activity, wellness and looking after ourselves."
