On Wednesday 21st January, the Year 2 children had a roaring time with the Travelling Natural History Museum where they experienced a dinosaur-themed day.

From sand digs to making fossils and learning to walk like a dinosaur, the children also enjoyed workshops about the Mesozoic era covering how dinosaurs lived and interacted with each other.

The day ended with a grand finale of a dancing T-Rex, aptly named Rex. There were squeals of delight, "wows" and chants of “dance, dance” as the children enjoyed an experience they will never forget.

Head, Nik Pears commented: "The children had an amazing time with the Travelling Natural History Museum. The experience really helped to bring history to life in an innovative and educational way. We would like to say a big thank you to the team."
