This year's creative writing competition yet again yielded a diverse range of entertaining and thought-provoking stories and poems. Writers transported the judges to lands of rainbows and unicorns; castles and wintry woods; schools and orphanages; and other-worldly settings clearly inspired by 'The Hunger Games' and 'Alice in Wonderland'. The judges were particularly pleased to see a number of accomplished works of poetry, some of which posed philosophical questions about climate change and the natural world, others taking lighter, more personal subject matter. Thank you to everyone who submitted an entry and congratulations to the following children.
