Adorned with eye patches and skull and cross bones, Year 1 had a fantastic day experiencing life as pirates on Thursday 8th February.

 After performing a pirate song in assembly the children were tasked with making edible treasure maps, completing pirate puzzles in French and using their gymnastics skills to avoid walking the plank!

To complete the day, the children followed clues around Pre-Prep which led them to a chest, filled with treasure, before returning to their classrooms to find that pirates had found their messages in a bottle and replied!
