On Tuesday, Year 4 took part in an exciting Roman battle as they stormed St Michael’s Hillfort—an event they had all been eagerly anticipating which was met with great excitement. In preparation, the children had practised different formations in their Humanities lessons, applying their knowledge of the Roman army. Using the shields they had carefully created themselves, they rehearsed a range of Roman army manoeuvres before beginning their steady march up the hill towards the school!
