Last week our Years 7 and 8 pupils enjoyed an unforgettable Sports Tour to Madrid!
Throughout the week, pupils took part in both hockey and football coaching sessions, followed by evening fixtures where they represented the school brilliantly. The standout moment for many was our visit to Real Madrid’s world‑class training facility, La Fábrica. To say we were in awe would be an understatement; the pitches were immaculate and the surroundings were stunning.
The excitement didn’t stop there. We enjoyed a tour of the iconic Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, glided through Madrid’s parks on Segways in glorious sunshine and took in the city’s beauty from the top deck of an open‑top bus. It was a week packed with sport, culture and laughter.
It truly was an incredible experience for everyone involved and we are certain the pupils enjoyed it every bit as much as we did.
Most importantly, every single child was a joy to be with, enthusiastic, polite, great company and an absolute credit to their families. It was wonderful to see the pupils grow in confidence, resilience and maturity throughout the trip.
