On Thursday 12th February, our Year 1 shipmates arrived at school adorned with eye patches and skull and cross bones and had a fantastic day experiencing life as a pirate.

The day started by performing their pirate songs in assembly, followed by tasking the children with making their own parrots, completing pirate puzzles in French and using their agility skills to sink the opposing team's ships in PE!

To complete the day, Year 1 followed clues around Pre-Prep which led to a chest, filled with treasure, before returning to the classrooms to find that pirates had found the messages Year 1 had wrote to them in a bottle and replied.
