On Tuesday 20th January, our Year 4 pupils enjoyed a truly unforgettable musical experience as they joined almost 8,000 children at the iconic O2 Arena in London for the Young Voices Concert. Leaving school at lunchtime buzzing with excitement, the children’s energy only grew as rehearsals began and the scale of the event became clear.

A real highlight for many was seeing Andy from Urban Strides live on stage, alongside the hugely impressive and high-energy performances from the Urban Strides dance troupe; even the parents got to join in with an upbeat 90s-style dance-off!  

The children were captivated by the fantastic solo artists, including Aneesa Folds and Ruti who delivered stunning renditions of iconic songs including Shackles and Love is All You Need.

Choral favourites of the evening included the ever-popular Pop Medley, Sea Shanties, the Wicked Medley and the night ended on a real high with the spectacular Disco Fever finale, bringing a truly memorable concert to a joyous close.
